Salisbury's Herraiz, CNU's Bellinger Tabbed First CLC Weekly Winners of 2026

The Coastal Lacrosse Conference has announced its weekly award winners for the week ending February 8, 2026.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CONNOR HERRAIZ • Salisbury University
Senior • Attack • Succasunna, N.J./Pope John XXIII

Herraiz earns the first CLC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the year after totaling 13 points on four goals and nine assists as Salisbury opened its 2026 campaign with a pair of dominant victories. The senior reached a new career high with nine points in the Sea Gulls' 24-9 triumph over Grove City on February 6, recording two goals and seven assists. He also contributed two goals and two assists in Salisbury's 19-6 season-opening win over Eastern on February 2. For the week, Herraiz posted five shots on goal and collected five ground balls while helping the Sea Gulls start the season 2-0.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MASON BELLINGER • Christopher Newport University
Senior • Goalie • Paramus, N.J./Paramus

Bellinger is recognized as the first CLC Defensive Player of the Week of 2026 after making 13 saves in Christopher Newport's 10-7 victory at Hampden-Sydney on February 7. The senior was particularly strong during shorthanded situations in the second half, recording three saves while the Captains were down a man. One of those stops came in the final three minutes to silence the Garnet & Gray's final rally attempt. Bellinger finished with a .650 save percentage in the win. In CNU's season opener against Elizabethtown on January 30, he also recorded three caused turnovers, equaling the most by a goalie in program history, as the Captains began the 2026 campaign with back-to-back victories.
