Salisbury Sweeps CLC Weekly Honors; Strub and Malamphy Honored

The Coastal Lacrosse Conference has announced its weekly award winners for the week ending April 12, 2026.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
RILEY STRUB • Salisbury University
Senior • Midfielder • Darien, Conn. / Darien

Strub claimed his first and Salisbury’s third CLC Offensive Player of the Week honor after matching his season-high eight points on five goals and three assists in Salisbury's 28-8 victory over Kean on Saturday. He tallied seven of his eight points in the first half, helping the Sea Gulls pull away early. Strub also contributed defensively, scooping up a ground ball and causing a turnover. He currently ranks sixth in the CLC in both points per game (4.00) and goals per game (2.71).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BLAKE MALAMPHY • Salisbury University
Senior • Faceoff Specialist • Annapolis, Md. / Archbishop Spalding

Malamphy earned his third and Salisbury’s fourth CLC Defensive Player of the Week recognition after a dominant performance at the faceoff dot in Salisbury's 28-8 win over Kean on Saturday. He won 22 of 24 faceoffs for a 91.7 winning percentage while scooping up 18 ground balls and adding a goal — all matching career-highs he set earlier this season. Malamphy currently leads the CLC in both faceoff percentage (.749) and ground balls per game (12.57).
